RICHARD F51MEL QUALITY EVALUATION
3130 La Selva Drive, Suite 307 NORTH GOI EE LANE
1 San Mateo, Califomia 94403 LODI, CALIFORNIA
1 Dear Mr. Bonvicino:
The attached report summarizes the results Of our soil and ground water quality
1 evaluation performed at the Burger King site, located at 230 North Cherokee Lane in
Lodi, California. This work was performed per Our agreement with you dated May 2,
1995.
1 Laboratory analysis Of soil samples collected from the six exploratory borings (EB-1
EB-2, EB-3, EB-4, EB-5, and EB-6) and the ground water grab sample collected from
boring EB-2 generally detected low levels of diesel range petroleum hydrocarbons (up
to 20 parts per million [ppm] in soil and 64 parts per billion [ppb] in ground water);
low levels of gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons were also detected in soil
coll1
460 ppm
from boring EB-2 (14 ppm). Total recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons at
ppm were detected in soil collected from boring EB-5.
1 In our opinion, based on the field and analytical data collected, the levels of
petroleum hydrocarbons detected indicate that past site activities have impacted the
site, however the concentrations do not appear to be a significant threat to human
1 health or the environment.
We refer you to the text of the report for details regarding our findings. If you have
1 any questions, please call.
Very truly yours,
1 LOWNEY ASSOCIATES
aE9 Cf
`r
Belinda P. Blackie F/
Associate 1 r;c. EGIR08 Ron L.
