San Joaquin County PubliclTealth Services N. Cherokee Iasurger King Work Plan
To evaluate ground water quality, a ground water grab Ground Water Grab
sample will be collected from the 75-foot boring. If Sampling
ground water is not encountered after drilling to a
depth of 75 feet, an additional soil sample will be
analyzed from this boring. Selection of the soil sample
to be analyzed will be based on field observations and
OVM readings. After collection of the sample, the
boring will be backfilled with cement grout to
surrounding grade. Sampling protocol is presented in
Attachment A.
Based on the field observations and ovM readings, one Laboratory Analyses
soil sample from each boring (for a total of six
samples), and one ground water grab sample will be
analyzed at a state certified laboratory for total
petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline with an
additional scan for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene,
and xylenes (BTEX) (EPA Test Method 8015W8020),
TPH as diesel (EPA Test Method 8015M), and total
recoverable petroleum hydrocarbons (TRPH) (Standard
Method 5520EF). The ground water grab sample will
be additionally analyzed for halogenated vocs (EPA
Test Method 8010). All analyses will be performed on
an accelerated 24-hour laboratory response time.
Soil cuttings and steam cleaning rinsate will be stored Soil Cuttings and
on-site in EPA approved drums. After receipt of the Steam Cleaning
analytical results, a cost estimate for disposal of these Rinsate
materials will be submitted to you.
L.OWNGYASSOCIATS Page 3
EnvironmanW/GaolxW.I/Enyinesnnq Smiu
1111-ZA
