Display images below <br /> Dear Ms. Luckasen, <br /> My name is Donald Brown. <br /> I reside at 976 Mokelumne st Woodbridge Ca. <br /> I'm am writing this letter in response to the pre-application for the development of the corner of Orange St and <br /> Mokelumne st. <br /> APN /Address 015-450-27/ 1026. <br /> I am strongly opposed to having said lot converted from C/C Community Commercial to R/M. Medium Density <br /> Residential. <br /> I'd like to also address the lack of notification to the community is very troubling. The only reason I was even notified <br /> was due to the fact that I sit on the Woodbridge Municipal Advisory Council -otherwise, I would have had no <br /> notification of the proposed project so close to my home. <br /> Having a multi-unit up to nine units in this location would be completely out of character of the neighborhood. <br /> Single-family homes and C/C Community Commercial buildings( the historic district downtown ) is what surrounds this <br /> site. <br /> To build such a unit would also negatively impact the local area with extra street parking. <br /> We have had many parked car accedences along this exact stretch of road. In the past 5 years, no less than three cars <br /> have been hit directly across the street from the proposed site on Mokelumne st. <br /> There is not ample square footage to allow adequate parking on sight unless units are built above parking. <br /> I have no doubt with even parking below units there will be increase parking on street impacting both businesses and <br /> local current residences. <br /> Again completely out of character of the area. <br /> These type of units are very unsightly. <br /> These type of units typically attract low-income residence with all the problems associated with these type of units. <br /> The proposed site is adjacent to our beautiful downtown historic district that we are so proud of and we as a community <br /> have worked so hard to revitalize. <br /> To build an R/M unit in this location would be a huge set back to the community and local business in my opinion. <br /> There is a location in Woodbridge that is more appropriate for such a project. <br /> Sacramento street next to the trailer park west side of the street. Across the street to the left of the Arco gas station. <br /> This location has a sizable empty lot that will allow for R/M with parking on sight as well.
