San Joaquin Valley Z
AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT HEALTHY AIR LIVING'
JUN 2 5 2019
Teddie Hernandez
San Joaquin County
Community.[Development Department
1810 E. Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, CA 95205
Project: PA-1900046 (SA)
District CEQA Reference No: 20190695
Dear Mr. Hernandez`
The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (District) has reviewed the
project referenced above consisting of a Site Approval application to establish a farm
services business for an agricultural pruning operation that includes the installation of a
1,584 square foot modular office building, a 400 square foot storage container, a 2,000
square foot outdoor storage area, and a 7,500 square foot storage addition (Project),
located at 1123 North Jack Tone Road (APN: 103-200-08), in Stockton, CA. The District
offers the following comments:
1. Based on information provided to the District, Project specific annual emissions of
criteria pollutants are not expected to exceed any of the following District significance
thresholds: 100 tons per year of carbon monoxide (CO), 10 tons per year of oxides of
nitrogen (NOx), 10 tons per year of reactive organic gases (ROG), 27 tons per year
of oxides of sulfur (SOx), 15 tons per year of particulate matter of 10 microns or less
in size (PM10), or 15 tons per year of particulate matter of 2.5 microns or less in size
(PM2.5). Therefore, the District concludes that the Project would have a less than
significant impact on air quality when compared to the above-listed annual criteria
pollutant emissions significance thresholds.
1. District Rule 9510 (Indirect Source Review) is intended to mitigate a project's impact
on air quality through project design elements or by payment of applicable off-site
fees. The proposed Project may be subject to District Rule 9510 (Indirect Source
Review). For assistance with determining if the Project is subject to Rule 9510, please
call the District at (559) 230-6000 or email ISR@valleyair.org.
Samir Sheikh
Executive Director/Air Pollution Control Officer
Northern Region Centraf Region.(Main Office) Southern Region
4800 Enterprise Way 1990 E.Gettysburg Avenue 34946 Flyover Court
Modesto,CA 95356-8718 Fresno,CA 93726.0244 Bakersfield,CA 93308-9725
Tel:(209)557.6400 FAX:(209)557-6475 Tel:(559)230-6000 FAX:(559)230-6061 Tel:661.392.5500 FAX:661.392-5585
www.valloyair.org www.healthyairliving.com Primed an mycid V
