Figure 1 is a vicinity map . <br /> showing the location of the site. The purpose of this phase of the investigation was to <br /> try to determine if the underground storage tank had impacted the soil. Tasks <br /> rcompleted to date include the drilling and-'sampling of two soil borings, laboratory <br /> L <br /> analysis of soil .samples, and data analysis, All site assessment methods employed are <br /> in accordance with regulations and guidelines set forth in California Code of <br /> Regulations (CCR) Title- 23 Underground Tank Regulations, Chapter 3, CCR Title 22,_ <br /> Chapter 30; Article 11, LUFT Field Manual ,(SWRCB, 1989), California Site Mitigation <br /> Decision Tree Manual, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 29, Part 1910, <br /> Section 120, CFR Title 40, Parts 300-399, as well as accepted professional <br /> environmental/geotechnical engineering procedures and applicable San Joaquin <br /> i <br /> County regulations. <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> 2. 1 Setting <br /> The site is located in an established, industrial/residential area of Lodi. The site i <br /> address is 126 South Main Street and ._is located on the northwest corner of Walnut and- <br /> South Main Street within. the city .limits ..of Lodi; California. The property is bounded I <br /> on the east by. an alley (Figure 2):, The" :property is; level-and „currently contains `one;" <br /> single-story brick structure which is located'.. on the southwest -corner of the property <br /> and houses the automotive shop.
