INTRODUCTION
In accordance with the request of Ms. Mary Lehr, Advanced GeoEnvironniental, Inc. (AGE) has
prepared this Work Plan Addendum for the advancement of soil probings/borings at 204 East Lodi
Avenue in Lodi, California (Figure 1 -Location Map). The scope of work includes the drilling of
up to three soil probings/borings at the site utilizing direct push technology.
The work plan addendum is prepared in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services
- Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites.
2.0. The FRP recommended installation of a soil vapor extraction/in-situ air sparging
(SVE/IAS) system for hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water remediation. The FRP was
approved by the PHS-EHD in August 1994,
In July 1995, an SVE/IAS system was installed inside a fenced enclosure at the southeast corner of
the Art & ,Artists building. The system began operation in August 1995. Remediation inonitoring
recormnendations contained in the FRP included the biannual drilling of soil borings and collection
of soil samples to evaluate progress of the SVE system.
3.0.
