Mary Lchr. .4dvanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has <br /> prepared the enclosed Work Plan A ddcndun-i for the collection of sail samples at 204 East Lodi <br /> Avenue in Lodi, California(Figure 1 - Local'ioa Hal)), In July 1995, a soil vapor extraction I in-silo <br /> air sparging system was installed inside a fenced enclosure at the southeast corner of the Art &. <br /> Artists building. The current scope of work includes the installation of two soil probe borings <br /> (probings) to monitor progress of soil remediation at the site. <br /> One probing will be advanced near MW'-1, a second probing will be advanced near the former UST <br /> location. Proposed probing locations are illustrated on figure 2. Probing and collection of soil <br /> samples, ill be performed in accordance with procedures detailed in the U ork Pla)2 Addendum -July <br /> 1996 prepared by .=AGE. <br /> Each probing will be advanced to a depth of approximately 55 feet bsg utilizing a van-mounted <br /> Geoprobe 5400 probing unit. Selected soil samples will be analyzed for total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline(TPI-I-g)and volatile aromatics(benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene, <br /> and xylenes: BTE&X) with tnethyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) in accordance with EPA methods <br /> 8015m and 8020. Additional samples will also be submitted to a laboratory for geotechnical analysis. <br /> Drilling Pen-nit No. 009977 and site specific Health and Safety Plan should be on file with the PHS- <br /> EHD. <br /> Details of the drilling and sampling procedures and results of laboratory analyses with quality <br /> assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports will be included in a Quarterly Report or, if appropriate, <br /> 180, We.,�t March Lane, Suite.
