Using rainfall recharge data from the nearest California Irrigation
Management Information System or CIMIS, the resulting nitrate-nitrogen result is higher. However,
other factors, including the thickness of the vadose zone and the provision of public water to the
parcel, help to mitigate the potential impact from the OWTS. In addition, the home site parcel meets
the minimum density of 1 acre per single family dwelling for parcel utilizing public water service,
pursuant to Section 3.1 of San Joaquin County OWTS Standards.
Based on the above information, the EHD has determined that the above noted parcel is suitable for
standard OWTS usage for the proposed 5-bedroom single-family dwelling, pursuant to San Joaquin
County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
The site map for the building permit for the proposed dwelling must be drawn to scale and must show
the location of the OWTS and the 100% replacement area.
If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Program Coordinator, at (209) 468-
3444 or mkith@s_ov.org.
Michel Kith `REHS
Program Coordinator
c: Steven J.
