Oak St <br /> Lodi, CA 95240 <br /> RE: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> 7670 E Melton Road, Manteca <br /> APN 257-220-37, Service Request SR0080613 <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading (SSNL) Study, dated May 13, 2019, for the above noted location and has <br /> the following comments for your consideration. <br /> The SSNL Study was prepared to determine the suitability for standard onsite wastewater treatment <br /> system (OWTS) usage by providing an estimate of the potential for nitrate impact to groundwater <br /> from a proposed 3-befroom single family dwelling on 10.00 acres. <br /> Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the SSNL Study supports the suitability for <br /> OWTS usage for this parcel for the proposed home, pursuant to San Joaquin County Ordinance <br /> Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). However, the OWTS installed at the site must maintain a 20 foot <br /> vertical separation from groundwater.
