For some reason I thought that it was WDC.
Keep me informed about your proposed work as more information becomes available.
Johnny Yoakum
Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
From: Rick McCartney [mailto:rmccartney@terrapg.com]
Sent: Friday, July 20, 2012 10:18 AM
To: John Yoakum [EH]
Cc: 'Pat Barrese'
Subject: RE: Lodi MGP
Hi Johnny,
During that two weeks we were out there, we did most of the planned drilling on the
PG&E property and in the street, but as you said, we didn't drill in the adjacent property
(Lodi Iron Works) because the Access Agreement had still not been completed. Believe
it or not, the Access Agreement is still not complete...as I think the attorneys realized
that they would not get done for this round of sampling and I have not been pushing
them. That said, we had some drilling refusal out in the street (came across some old
unidentified pipe)...and based on the results of this round of drilling onsite, we need to
drill some more borings both on the site and in the street. So, it looks like we will be
drilling in all three areas once we are able to get funding for this additional work. I think
that might be in Sept or Oct. Is it possible to keep these permits open till then? Not
sure how this works.
Also, the driller we used was Penecore, and they are still in business. We might have
initially sent them in assuming that we would use WDC, who did go bankrupt...not sure.
Thanks.
Rick McCartney, PG
Terra Pacific Group
201 North Civic Drive, Suite 135
7/20/2012
