This information was <br /> obtained from published maps. <br /> TABLE 2 <br /> PHYSICAL SETTING <br /> USGS TOPOGRAPHIC Tracy, The site has a topographic upward gradient to the <br /> QUADRANGLE California dated southwest. The elevation is between 400 feet and <br /> 1954, 240 feet above mean sea level. There is one <br /> photorevised structure shown near the southern border west of <br /> 1981, Scale: 1 Tracy Boulevard. Interstate 580 and the <br /> inch=2000 California Aqueduct are both noted as a 1981 <br /> feet. revision. <br /> GEOLOGIC MAP California The subject site is depicted as alluvial fan deposits <br /> Division of from the Coast Ranges. These deposits are known <br /> Mines and as the fanglomerate sequence which consists of <br /> Geology, San marine sediments, silts and clays. This sequence <br /> Jose Quadrangle is predominately located adjacent to the subject <br /> Map No. 1 A, site in the north direction. <br /> 1981, (Scale: 1 <br /> inch=4 miles) <br /> SOIL TYPE Soil Survey of The soil at the subject site is predominately <br /> San Joaquin Carbona clay loam. This soil type is found on <br /> County, gently sloping to moderately sloping uplifted, <br /> California, terraces. It formed in alluvium derived from <br /> United States mixed rock sources. Typically, the upper 6 inches <br /> Department of of the surface layer is grayish brown clay. The <br /> Agriculture, upper 11 inches of the subsoil is pale brown clay <br /> Soil loam. The lower part to a depth of 62 inches is <br /> Conservation light yellowish brown clay loam.
