Rangeland is the dominant land use among scattered residences located cn relatively large parcels. The only notable, non-agricultural land use in the area is the landfill located about 1 mile Lauth of tho project. It was mentioned earlier in this report that the applicant may sell some of the overburden removed to the landfill site. Delivery trucks would travel. via Waverly Road and while most residences along the delivery route are se` back a distance from the road, several residences at or near the road will be subject to noire and dust fres truck hauling activities. The same situation will be evident northward along Waverly Roar and westward along Shelton Road . 3. Planned Land Use a. Zon ina Current zoning of the site is GA-3.60, general agricultural land uses z:nd minims parcel sizes of 160 acres. Vicinity Zoning is shown on Yap 6. The proposed excavation is a ccnditional use within G.A zones--that is,: it will require approval of an excavat ,on use permit application by the Board of Zoning Ad?ustrer.t b--fore it can be established. b. Gene--11 Plan The County General Plan is the long-term counter- part of the current zoning designation.
