ACTIVITIES OCTOBER 1990 THROUGH MAY 1991 Groundwater Sampling,27 December 1990 The eight monitoring wells were gauged, and MWI, MW2,MW6,MW7,and MW8 (Figure 2) were sampled. MW3,MW4,and MW5 were dry. Samples were submitted under chain of custody to Pace Laboratories,where they were analyzed for total petroleum hydros;rbons (TPH) by DHS-modified EPA Method 8015 and for benzene,toluene,ethylbenz?ne,and xylenes(BTEX)by EPA Method 8020. Groundwater Sampling,29 March 1991 The eight monitoring wells were gauged,and MWI, MW2,MW6, MW7, and MW8 (Figure 2) were sampled. MW3, MW4, and MW5 were dry. Samples were submitted under chain of custody to Med-Tox Associates,Inc.,where they were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons(TPH)by DHS-modified EPA Method 8015 and for benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene,and xylenes(BTEX)by EPA Method 8020. Concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons greater than the method detection Iimits wLre mcas- ured in the samples taken from well MW6(Table 1). MW6, which replaces MW3,is located in the former tank field and is surrounded on four sides by the other wells. Copies of the laboratory analytical reports for the December 1990 analyses are provided as Appendix A.
