Box. 4415
Houston, Texas 77210-4415
SUBJECT: Vacuum Extraction System
Exxon Station RS #7-1050,
Stockton, California
Dear Ms. Harris:
The system was monitored on 12 September and 24 September 1991 at the
subject site. The results are presented in the attached table for your
review. Also enclosed are copies of the laboratory report.
Although the extraction system has been operating at near peak
capacity, well and air stream data indicates low TVH concentrations. A
portable GC-FID will be used during the next monitoring event to verify
TV concentrations of individual vapor points. We will contact you with
the results in order to discuss possible new borings at the site.
The system operated for 22 of the 25 days during the past interval,
from 29 August to 24 September 1591. The system was down for three
days due to mechanical difficulties. Between 8 March and 24 September
1491, approximately 1,321.1 pounds of hydrocarbons and 60 pounds of
benzene have been removed from the soil.
Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
EVAX Technologies, Inc.
hEti 7A-LCt12ct.irr.L
- 5
Shaw Garakani
Project Engineer
cc: Mr. Harlin Knoll, San Joaquin County Environmental Health
- - Department
