The borings for monitoring wells 4 and 5 were
located on the southeastern and northern r
- Y property boundaries {see !
Figure . 2 , Site Plan) to comply with a request from the San.
t Joaquin County Local Health District. Both borings were drilled
= with a truck mounted drill rig using 10 . 5 inch. O.D. (outside
diameter) hollow stem augers . The drilling g was performed under
a the direction of a Groundwater Technology geologist who also
maintained 'a continuous log of the materials encountered (see
Appendix F , Drill Logs) .
- 2
SOIL SAMPLES
R ? Soil samples were obtained during drilling using a 2.5-inch
rk
0 -D . split spoon sampler lined with three 2 inch by 6. inch
brass sample tubes.
