..e \0 <br /> MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM <br /> CITY OF TRACY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY -3- <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Station Frequency <br /> Dissolved Oxygen mg/l R-1 , R-2, R-3 Twice Weekly <br /> PH pH Units R-1 , R-2 Twice Weekly <br /> Turbidity Turbidity Units R-1 , R-2 Twice Weekly <br /> Temperature °F (C') R-1 , R-2 Twice Weekly <br /> When receiving water samples are collected, report whether net flow at each <br /> station is to the east or west. <br /> In conducting the receiving water sampling, a log shall be kept of the receiving <br /> water conditions throughout the reach bounded by Stations R-1 and R-2. Attention <br /> shall be given to the presence or absence of: <br /> a. Floating or suspended matter c. Bottom deposits <br /> b. Discoloration d. Aquatic life <br /> Notes on receiving water conditions shall be summarized in the monitoring report. <br /> RECEIVING WATER STUDY <br /> To determine the dilution capacity of Old River and the water quality impact of <br /> the City's discharge, a technical report prepared by a California registered civil <br /> engineer, knowledgeable in the area of water quality and river flow regimes, shall <br /> be provided by 1 March 1986. The report shall include records of daily net flow <br /> in cfs, changes in daily net flow, daily dilution factors (river flow in cfs/ <br /> effluent flow in cfs) , and an analysis of the water quality impact of the dis- <br /> charge. Existing flow records may be used for this analysis. A proposed work <br /> plan for this study shall be submitted by 1 November 1985, and be approved by the <br /> Executive Officer prior to the City proceeding with the study. <br /> WATER SUPPLY MONITORING <br /> A sampling station shall be established where a representative sample of the <br /> municipal water supply can be obtained. The following shall constitute the <br /> water supply monitoring program: <br /> Sampling <br /> Constituents Units Frequency <br /> Standard Minerals mg/l Yearly at same time <br /> as effluent samples <br /> Specific Conductivity umhos/cm Yearly at same time as <br /> @ 25°C effluent samples <br /> Total Dissolved Solids mg/l Yearly at same time as <br /> effluent samples <br />
