Tenth St. <br /> Tracy, California 95376 <br /> Maximum Contaminant Level, Turbidity <br /> This letter is formal notification that your surface water treatment system <br /> at Tracy must meet the requirements of Section 64435 (f) , Title 22, California <br /> Administrative Code. This system is required to produce water which "receive(s) , <br /> as a minimum, pretreatment, filtration and disinfection. The filtered water <br /> turbidity, measured daily, shall be less than 0.5 turbidity units (NTU) on a <br /> monthly average for an acceptable level of public health protection." If a <br /> daily turbidity sample of the effluent from this treatmenrsystem exceeds <br /> 0.5 NTU, follow-up action shall be as specified in the code section referred <br /> to above, enclosed. <br /> The reason your treatment system must meet these standards is that the untreated <br /> water is exposed to significant sewage hazards and significant recreational use. <br /> Robert W.
