(Wright) and has the following comments.
In 1998 one underground.storage tank (UST) was removed from the above referenced site.
In 2003 four exploratory borings were advanced around the former UST area. Soil samples
collected from the borings were reported 'non-detect' for petroleum hydrocarbon
constituents, but four grab groundwater samples reported total petroleum hydrocarbons as
diesel. -The purpose of this Work Plan is to confirm and/or show declining trends in the
reported groundwater contaminant con
p g centrations. .
Wright proposes to perform a sensitive receptor. survey to id all wells and potential
P Y Y
receptors located within a 2000-foot radius of the former UST area. Wright further proposes
to install five Geoprobe soil borings, to maximum depth of approximately 25 feet below
surface grade,'to collect additional soil and grab groundwater samples for analysis.
The EHD approves the proposed scope of work with thecondition that analyses for
1,2-dichloroethane and ethylene dibromide are added to the analytical suite. If you have any
questions please call Lori Duncan at (209),468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel C.
