10381 Greystone Court, Stockton March 8, 2019
Page 2 SR0080075
Submit a revised calculation addressing these concerns, and if these concerns are not to be
included in the calculation, provide explanation and supporting documents.
5) The report utilizes daily flow of 120 gallons per day per bedroom in its calculation. EHD
currently accepts 140 gallons per day per bedroom based on Small and Decentralized
Wastewater Management Systems, Chapter 4, Table 4-1, pg 170, at two person per bedroom.
Submit a report that uses 140 gallons per day per bedroom.
6) The parcel is listed as 44,431 square feet (1.019 acres) on the San Joaquin County
Community Development Geographic Information Systems; the report cited 44,000 square
feet in its water loading calculation. Please use accurate data points in calculations.
7) The report cited nitrogen concentration is derived by "dividing the annual nitrogen loading by
the annual water loading", but listed in the formula below as "30 ppy x 700000 gpy". Please
revise so the description and the mathematical symbols of the equivalent formula are
consistent. Provide detailed calculation and conversion to milligrams per liter (mg/L).
If you have any questions please call Jeffrey Wong, Lead Senior Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, at (209) 468-0
Micha I Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
Nitrate Well 10/27/15
