1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of site: The project consists of one legal parcel. The subject parcel is located at <br /> 16042 E. Baker Road, Linden, CA. The subject Assessor's Parcel Number is 091-100-08. The <br /> project is in an agricultural area. The site contains twy lw s and two barns as well as an orchard. 1 <br /> The parcel is zoned AG-40. tieA s!-- _ ,qtr, 4 l S,,kG,t�f /cRw►'CF J <br /> 1.2 Description of Proposed Development: It is proposed to create two lots from the existing <br /> parcel. One of the parcels will be a"Homesite Parcel." In accordance with the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) is being submitted <br /> for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical environmental <br /> contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and County records. (This SSCR <br /> includes no chemical analysis). <br /> 1.3 Parcel location map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map and APN page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of Past,Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of information of <br /> the historic use of this property is testimony from the owner,Andy Lagomarsino. Mr. Lagomarsino was <br /> interviewed in March, 2018 and again in March,2019. The owner has owned the parcel for more than <br /> twenty years. The land use has not changed significantly under his tenure. It has been a parcel with two <br /> residences and an orchard for the length of his ownership. <br /> Presently the property has two residences and an orchard. The surrounding area is an agricultural area. <br /> Mr. Lagomarsino farms the orchard himself. All chemicals used in his farming operation are applied per <br /> the manufacturer's recommendation and under permit by the San Joaquin County Agricultural <br /> Commissioner's office (Permit Number 3900228). He has also utilized agricultural consultants (Alpine <br /> Helicopter Service, Hamilton Services) <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods used to research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched at the <br /> San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office in February, 2019 (see appendix for results). An <br /> onsite survey was performed in March, 2019 by Joe Murphy of Dillon&Murphy. The San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department's underground storage tank mitigation database list did not <br /> yield any concerns. <br /> 3.2 Description of all past on-site potential and/or known above and below ground sources of <br /> contamination identified at the project site: Past on-site potentials for contaminations are low. The <br /> property has been an orchard and residence for many years. Historically there have been no <br /> underground storage tanks. The owner has no knowledge of improper above ground storage of <br /> chemicals on the subject parcel. On the day of the site visit,two portable fuel tanks on trailers were <br /> observed. <br /> 1 <br />
