Kasey Foley,REHS,Assistant Director <br /> PROGRAM COORDINATORS <br /> Robert McClellon, REHS <br /> Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI <br /> Willy Ng, REHS <br /> �v Muniappa Naidu, REHS <br /> Michael Kith, REHS <br /> May 31, 2019 ��, <br /> Terracon Consultants, Inc <br /> 902 Industrial Way <br /> Lodi, CA 95240 <br /> RE: Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> 16327 Diablo Court, Tracy <br /> APN 209-370-19, Service Request SR0080264. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the Soil <br /> Suitability/Nitrate Loading (SSNL) Study, dated February 21, 2019, and the revised, dated April 9, <br /> 2019, for the above noted parcel. <br /> The SSNL was prepared to determine the suitability of the above noted parcel for onsite wastewater <br /> treatment system (OWTS) usage and the potential impact of nitrate to groundwater, for a proposed <br /> 3-bedroom single-family second unit dwelling on approximately 2.07 acres, utilizing public water <br /> service, County Service Area (CSA) #35. <br /> Using Hantzche and Finnemore equation, the weighted average concentration of nitrate-nitrogen in <br /> recharge water is 38.3 mg/L-N. The home site parcel meets the minimum density of 1 acre per <br /> single family dwelling for parcel utilizing public water service, pursuant to Section 3.1 of San Joaquin <br /> County OWTS Standards. There is no well on site. Water is provided by CSA #35. The quarterly <br /> water quality sampling result shows Well #1 of Santos Ranch PWS #5-CSA #35 is not impacted. <br /> Based on the above information and information provided in SSNL Study, including its revision, the <br /> EHD has determined that the above noted parcel, APN 209-370-19, is suitable for standard OWTS <br /> usage for the proposed 3-bedroom single-family second unit dwelling, pursuant to San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d). <br /> If you have any questions please call Naseem Ahmed, Registered Environmental Health Specialist, <br /> at (209) 468-3436. <br /> Mich el Kith, REHS <br /> Program Coordinator <br /> Cc: Warren Ernest-16327 Diablo Court, Tracy, CA 95304 <br /> 1868 E.
