Jahant Court, Acampo
APN 007-400-33, Service Request SR0080505
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has received the Nitrate Loading
(NL) Study, dated April 19, 2019, for the above noted location and has the following comments for
your consideration.
The NL Study was prepared to determine the suitability for standard onsite wastewater treatment
system (OWTS) usage by providing an estimate of the potential for nitrate impact to groundwater
from a proposed 4-bedroom single family dwelling on approximately 5.35 acres. Percolation testing
performed as part of the subdivision application in 2005 and most recently in September of 2018
showed adequate percolation rates in the shallow test holes. Based on these results, a standard
OWTS was recommended to be located within 100 feet of the passing percolation test areas.
Based on the information provided, the EHD finds that the NL Study supports the suitability for
standard OWTS usage for Parcel 007-400-33 for the proposed home, pursuant to San Joaquin
County Ordinance Code Title 9, Section 9-1105.2(d).
If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Program Coordinator, at (209) 468-
3444 or mkith@sjcehd.com
Michel Kith, REHS
Program Coordinator
c: Cody and Brittany Brum
1868 E.
