Patterson Pass Rd. <br /> This project has been reviewed based on the California Fire Code and Tracy Municipal Code. <br /> At this time, project is conditionally approved subject to satisfying the following requirements: <br /> 1. Prior to construction, applicant shall provide plans for grading and/or site improvement and <br /> construction to the South San Joaquin County Fire Authority for review and approval <br /> demonstrating compliance with 2016 California Fire Code and San Joaquin County Municipal <br /> Codes. <br /> 2. Prior to issuance of construction permit, applicant shall provide plans demonstrating fire apparatus <br /> access in accordance with 2016 CFC Section 503, San Joaquin County Fire Chief and San Joaquin <br /> County Requirements for fire department access. <br /> 3. Prior to issuance of construction permit, applicant shall demonstrate that all gates shall be <br /> equipped with traffic preempting optical signal receivers compatible with the emitters used by the <br /> Fire Department, which will activate the gates and override all command functions of the gate <br /> controller. Electric gate operators shall be listed in accordance with UL 325 and ASTM F2200. <br /> Knox switches shall be provided on both sides of the gates unless an exit loop is provided at <br /> automatic gates. The automatic gates shall have a battery back-up or a manual mechanical <br /> disconnect readily accessible to emergency personnel in case of power failure. <br /> 4. Prior to issuance of construction permit, applicant shall submit documentation of type of <br /> combustible fibers stored, diameter of mulch,whether or not it is chips or shredded and maximum <br /> quantity stored at the facility. <br /> 5. Prior to issuance of construction permit, applicant shall provide a water source for fire <br /> suppressions services.
