4f <br />:3'7 <br />(b) By November 19, 1981, a container holding liquid waste <br />or waste containing free liquids shall not be placed in <br />the landfill, unless: <br />(1) The container is designed to hold liquids or free <br />liquids for a use other than storage, such as a <br />battery or capacitor; or <br />(2) The container is very small, such as an ampule. <br />5. Containers. <br />By November 19, 1981, any empty container shall be crushed, or <br />similarly reduced in volume before it is buried beneath the <br />surface of the landfill. <br />6. Ignitable or reactive waste. <br />Ignitable or reactive waste shall not be placed in the landfill, <br />unless the waste is treated, rendered, or mixed before or <br />immediately after placement in the landfill so that the resulting <br />waste, mixture, or dissolution of material is no longer ignitable <br />or reactive and Item 7(b), Partlll of this document is complied with, <br />7. Incompatible wastes. <br />Incompatible wastes, or incompatible wastes and materials shall not <br />be placed in the same landfill cell, unless Item 7(b), Part III <br />of this document is complied with, <br />
