Water was found in the: -the 91 fill sump (approximately 3-4 inches) on the north side and (approximately 1 inch) on south side of the sump -the Diesel STP sump (approximately '/2 inch) on the north and south side of the sump - the Diesel fill sump (approximately Y2 inches) on the north and south side of the sump - the Vent box sump (approximately 1/2 inch) across the pan. Technicians removed the liquid from the above sumps and placed in the hazardous waste drum on site. Secondary containment shall be constructed to prevent any water intrusion into the system by precipitation, infiltration, or surface runoff. Immediately remove this liquid, make a hazardous waste determination per Title 22 hazardous waste regulations, and manage accordingly. Immediately contact a properly licensed, trained, and certified contractor to address the water intrusion into the 87 STP sump, the 87 fill sump, the 91 STP sump, the 91 fill sump, the Diesel STP, the Diesel fill sump and the Vent box sump. A permit may be required by the EHD. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance form with a statement of how each violation was corrected, including supporting documentation to the EHD by October 12, 2014. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE.
