In accordance with Section 1(h) of the ".Standard Conditions Applicable to <br /> Revocable Permits,"the permittee shall provide and keep in force during the term <br /> of the permit a policy of public liability insurance againstliability for injuries to <br /> persons or property arising out of accidents attributable to the structure on City i <br /> property, in amounts to be determined by the Risk Manager. The p9licy of <br /> insurance so provided shall contain a contractual liability endorsement covering the <br /> liability assumed by the Permittee by the terms of his permit and shall contain a <br /> provision that such policy may not be canceled except after thirty (30) days notice <br /> in writing to be given to the Risk Manager. The copies of these policies or <br /> certificates evidencing the same shall be filed with the Risk Manager of the City I <br /> after approval of the City Attorney. <br /> 5. The issuance of this permit by the City sloes not create any agency on the part of <br /> the permittee, and the permittee will hold the City of Stockton harmless for any <br /> action for damages arising out of the permittee's activities performed under this <br /> permit. <br /> 6. Permittee, or his contractor,shall obtain an Encroachment Permit for the installation <br /> of the wells and any future maintenance of the wells. <br /> 7. The well heads shall be covered with a meter box or valve box as approved by the <br /> City of Stockton. The top of the box shall be flush with the surrounding ground or <br /> pavement. <br /> 8. The provisions of the State of California, Department of Water Resources Bulletin <br /> 74-81 and 74-9.0 entitled "Water Well Standards: State of California" shall be <br /> applicable to this permit. <br /> 10. . Construction operations that create loud noise shall be confined between the hours <br /> of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. <br /> 12. Disposal of water from the well development shall be in accordance with current <br /> federal regulations. <br /> 13. The barricading of any portion of City streets shall be.subject to the approval of the <br /> City Traffic Engineer. Traffic cones and warning signs shall be used to direct traffic <br /> and shall be installed in accordance with the Caltrans Manual of Traffic Controls for <br /> Construction and Maintenance Work Zones or the WATCH Manual. <br /> 14. The permlttee shall not close any traveled lanes or pedestrian travel ways to <br /> facilitate maintenance or sampling of-the wells. <br />
