Due to the large size of the Property, di ensions to existing site <br /> features are generally shown on the Percolation Test Rate forms. <br /> 6.2 NumberAT,ercolation Tests Performed <br /> A minimum of one rcolation test was performed on each of the tlu-ee parcels proposed by the <br /> minor subdivi ion a lication; with two tests performed on the southenunost parcel, Parcel C. <br /> 6.3 Percolation Test Dates and Times <br /> The percolat' n t is were performed on July 17, 2007. The test holes were all 4'/z inches in <br /> diameter an 42 nches deep. The bottom of the test holes were first scarified, then an <br /> approximate -' ch-thick layer of clean pea gravel was placed on the bottom of the hole and a <br /> 3-inch-diameter perforated pipe was placed down the hole. Additional pea gravel was placed <br /> around the pipe up to the ground surface. For pre-soaking, the holes were completely filled with <br /> clean tap water sourced from a domestic-use well located on W. Ectcheverry Drive in Tracy. <br /> 6.4 Pre-Soak Period <br /> The holes were presoaked the morningCated <br /> 6, 2007. ;After the 4-hour pre-soak period, the <br /> test holes were intact and approximatelt wate' remained i test holes B1, C1 and C2. <br /> All of the water in test hole Al had perovernig <br /> 6.5 Percolation Test Procedures <br /> Water was removed from test holes B1, C1 and C2 to approximately 6'inches above the gravel <br /> and the percolation rate was measured over a 30-minute period and recorded on the test form. <br /> For test hole A1, water was placed in the test hole up to app rencii �tely 6 inches above the gravel <br /> and the water drop was recorded at 30-minute intervals for 4-hou 11 period with water replaced al,,-- <br /> each interval to approximately 6 inches above the gravel. <br /> 6.6 Percolation Test Rate Forms <br /> Percolation Test Rate forms signed by the Registered Environmental Health Specialist (RENS) <br /> are attached. <br />
