Due to the large size of the Property, di ensions to existing site
features are generally shown on the Percolation Test Rate forms.
6.2 NumberAT,ercolation Tests Performed
A minimum of one rcolation test was performed on each of the tlu-ee parcels proposed by the
minor subdivi ion a lication; with two tests performed on the southenunost parcel, Parcel C.
6.3 Percolation Test Dates and Times
The percolat' n t is were performed on July 17, 2007. The test holes were all 4'/z inches in
diameter an 42 nches deep. The bottom of the test holes were first scarified, then an
approximate -' ch-thick layer of clean pea gravel was placed on the bottom of the hole and a
3-inch-diameter perforated pipe was placed down the hole. Additional pea gravel was placed
around the pipe up to the ground surface. For pre-soaking, the holes were completely filled with
clean tap water sourced from a domestic-use well located on W. Ectcheverry Drive in Tracy.
6.4 Pre-Soak Period
The holes were presoaked the morningCated
6, 2007. ;After the 4-hour pre-soak period, the
test holes were intact and approximatelt wate' remained i test holes B1, C1 and C2.
All of the water in test hole Al had perovernig
6.5 Percolation Test Procedures
Water was removed from test holes B1, C1 and C2 to approximately 6'inches above the gravel
and the percolation rate was measured over a 30-minute period and recorded on the test form.
For test hole A1, water was placed in the test hole up to app rencii tely 6 inches above the gravel
and the water drop was recorded at 30-minute intervals for 4-hou 11 period with water replaced al,,--
each interval to approximately 6 inches above the gravel.
6.6 Percolation Test Rate Forms
Percolation Test Rate forms signed by the Registered Environmental Health Specialist (RENS)
are attached.
