The 10.5-acre <br /> parcel is located on the northwest corner of Byron Road and Wicklund Road, within the <br /> unincorporated urban community of Mountain House. The parcel is zoned AU-20 <br /> (Agriculture-Urban Reserve, 20 acre minimum) and has a General Plan designation of <br /> I/G (Industrial-General). <br /> Background <br /> On October 20, 1988, the Planning Commission approved a Use Permit for thirty (30) <br /> brooder sows and two boars. The project included the use of an existing 3,584 square <br /> foot barn and a corral enclosure. <br /> For the neighborhood stable, the applicant proposes to use an existing building ("open <br /> stalls") for stalls with attached paddocks (5,616 square feet), existing "open portable <br /> pens" (1,320 square feet) and an existing portable arena (60 foot diameter). There is an <br /> existing house and two sheds on the property used for private use by the property <br /> owner. <br /> Enforcement <br /> The applicant is currently under enforcement (EN-03-1249) for operating a boarding <br /> stable without the benefit of permits. If this stable continues to operate without the <br /> required permits, the following accelerated timeframe shall apply: <br /> Building plans shall be submitted within thirty (30) days from the date of <br /> approval. The building permit(s) or Improvement Plan shall be secured <br /> (issued) within sixty (60) days from the date of approval. All Conditions <br /> 1 <br />
