A site plan must be submitted identifying the locations <br /> where monitoring will be performed. Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at <br /> http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/and upload a copy of the UST Monitoring Site Plan. This is a minor violation. Corrected with <br /> inspector onsite. <br /> 201 CCR 2712(b) Failed to maintain alarm logs and/or records of follow up actions. <br /> Maintenance and monitoring records for the last three years were not found on site. Last monitoring system <br /> certification was not located onsite. These records shall be maintained on site for at least three years. Monitoring <br /> records include: (1) date and time of all monitoring or sampling, (2) monitoring equipment calibration and maintenance <br /> records; (3) results of any visual observations; (4) results of sample analysis performed a lab or in the field, (5) logs of <br /> all readings of gauges or other monitoring equipment, ground water elevations, or other test results, (6) results of <br /> inventory readings and reconciliations. This record was forwarded from the maintenance company while onsite. <br /> Maintain all maintenance and monitoring records for the last three years on site and submit copies to the EHD. The sensors monitoring the liquid level in the interstitial space <br /> shall be maintained so that a breach in the primary or secondary containment is detected before the hazardous <br /> substance is released into the environment. The sensor was replaced and retested during the inspection. A"UST <br /> Retrofit Verification with Inspector Already Onsite" form has been completed and provided to the operator and <br /> contractor. CORRECTED. UDC iquid sensor was hanging by the wire and was approximately 1.5 inches off the sump bottom and not <br /> located to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak <br /> at the earliest possible opportunity. These sensors were relocated to the lowest point of the sump by the service <br /> technician. Ensure that all monitoring equipment is maintained to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity This is a <br /> Class II violation. CORRECTED. <br /> 323 CCR 2636(0(2) Leak detector failed to detect a 3.0 gph leak at 10 psi. <br /> The 87-octane line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be capable of <br /> detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. The leak detector siphon jet was replaced and leak detector retested <br /> during the inspection. A"UST Retrofit Verification with Inspector Already Onsite" form has been completed and <br /> provided to the operator and contractor.
