SURFACE AND SUBSURFACE CONTAMINATION REPORT: <br /> APN 023-150-14& 16 Being a portion of Sec. 19, T. 4 N. R. 9 E., MD B & M., San Joaquin, <br /> County, California. <br /> The proposed Tentative Parcel Map divides the 400 + acres into 5 parcels. This report includes <br /> the 5 parcels. <br /> OWNER: June W. Mello and Jean W. Questo <br /> Mail Address: Box 95, Wallace, Ca. 95154 <br /> Use Description: Agricultural <br /> Lot Acres: 400 <br /> Tax Rate area 099026 <br /> The requirement for this report is found in the Development Title, San Joaquin County, Sect. 9- <br /> 905.12 <br /> HISTORY OF PARCEL: <br /> Original parcel was one Section, owned by the family of June W. Mello. On 4-16-73 June Mello <br /> acquired title to APN 023-150-14 (364 Acres) <br /> The marginal land is used for grazing cattle. There appear to be cemented sediments on disected <br /> terraces with shallow soil. Oak trees are present. The dry washes contain many rocks. <br /> VISUAL FIELD INSPECTION: <br /> On May 28, 1999 the property was walked to visually inspect for any contamination. The <br /> property as delineated on the Tentative Parcel Map attached, was exceptionally clean from any <br /> debris, cans or containers of any sort. No structures were found. One well shaft-was found. -he <br /> opening was fenced off,by barbed wire. See photograph No. 6. The well should be abandoned by <br /> . <br /> perms — — —- <br /> PHOTOGRAPH COMMENTS: <br /> Number 1---Typical dry creek bed. <br /> Number 2---Bank composition in creek bed. <br /> Number 3, 4, 5, & 7---Typical of range grasses. <br /> RECORDS SEARCH: <br /> The Agricultural Commissioner's Office of San Joaquin County reported by letter of May 27, <br /> 1999 that no use reports were found in the files for chemical applications. (Copy attached) <br /> The list of contaminated sites did not list any sites near the subject property. <br /> 2. <br />
