Mr.Jolley <br /> February 13, 2020 <br /> Page 7 of 15 <br /> 5.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 5.1 PHASE 1 - Project Development and Initiation <br /> 5.1.1 Task IA: Project Initiation Meeting <br /> ECORP will attend a combined start-up meeting and site visit with staff from the County (as well as other <br /> project team members), to discuss project objectives and characteristics. The site visit will be used as a <br /> means of refining the project description, discussing the schedule, establishing procedures for data <br /> gathering and focusing the analysis on pertinent issues.The meeting will be attended by ECORPs Project <br /> Manager and CEQA lead. Approximately eight (8) hours of meeting time and travel time from the <br /> Contractors Rocklin office are assumed for the site visit. ECORP will also attend a project initiation <br /> meeting with Agencies with permitting authority over the project to review project characteristics, confirm <br /> CEQA documentation approach and solicit comments on the proposed project. This task also involves <br /> review of all existing planning and environmental documentation pertinent to the project and site <br /> including review of comments received on the Notice of Preparation (NOP) which was circulated from <br /> January 15, 2020 to February 14, 2020. <br /> 5.1.2 Task 1 B: Finalize Project Description <br /> Utilizing the project description developed in support of the NOP as a starting point, ECORP will <br /> coordinate with the County and the applicant to finalize the project description. Coordination for this task <br /> will be by telephone and/or email.The project description shall include: <br /> Project setting: a description of the project's regional and local location, environmental setting, <br /> local transportation system, land use designations, and surrounding land uses. Maps showing the <br /> regional and specific location of the project will be included in this section. <br /> Project background: a description of the project's history <br /> Project objectives:the goals, objectives, and need for the project <br /> Project characteristics: project implementation schedule and sequencing; site improvements; <br /> operations plan, employees, shifts, deliveries, and helicopter flight patterns.
