CA, S52O6 <br /> Owner Certification and Designated UST Operator Deadline Notification by January 1, 2005 <br /> Recently, the State Water Resources Control Board (8VVRBC) passed regulations requiring <br /> certification of individuals working with underground storage tank (UST) systems. LIST owners <br /> are included in this new requirement. A copy of the GVVRBC Oyer entitled ''ACT N[K8/', <br /> explaining the [e3p003ibi|ih8S Of UST OvYDe[S and the deadlines by which you must comply, is <br /> enclosed with this letter. <br /> This is o courtesy notification to remind you of the January 1. 2005. deadline to submit the <br /> (describedowner's compliance statement ~~~.,) .... <br /> identify the ICC certified Designated UST <br /> Operator(s)* for all of your underground storage tank (UST) facilities located within San Joaquin <br /> County. <br /> The owner's compliance statement mentioned above is required pursuant to California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 23. section 2715 (a) which reads: <br /> By January 1, 2005, owners of underground storage tank systems shall <br /> submit a signed statement to the local agency indicating that the owner <br /> understands and is in compliance with all applicable underground storage <br /> tank requirements, and identifying the designated UST operator(s) for each <br /> facility owned. The owner shall inform the |000| agency of any change of <br /> designated LIST mperator(s) no later than 3Odays after the change. <br /> To help you comply with these requirements, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHO) is enclosing a document entitled "Owner Statements of Designated <br /> Underground Storage Tank (UST) Operator and Understanding of and Compliance with UST <br /> Requirements".
