Aegis is
submitting copies of the report to Shell, the Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board and the San Joaquin County
Local Health District, Environmental Health Division.
Aegis has increased the frequency of liquid-level measurements in
the three on-site monitoring wells from monthly to weekly. This is
due to the observation of trace free product in Monitoring Well No.
3 during the January 1991 sampling event. If the thickness of free
product increases to approximately 0. 5 foot, free product bail down
and recovery testing will be initiated.
The next ground water sampling event is scheduled for mid-April.
The next draft quarterly report will be submitted in May 1991.
Aegis is currently pursuing right-of-entry agreements with adjacent
and nearby property owners to install off-site ground water
monitoring wells. Aegis is also soliciting bids for vapor
extraction pilot testing from potential subcontractors. It is
possible Aegis will perform the testing utilizing in-house
resources, depending on cost/benefit analysis.
90-020A.LTR
OMRCOVR.LET
GEOLOGISTS • ENGINEERS • GROUND WATER SCIENTISTS
