We discussed the January
27, 1998, report from Cambria Environmental Technology that identifies the underground
contamination from the Shell Station. The benzene level that was detected in monitoring
well MW-5 located in the parking lot of 702 Porter Avenue is at a level which is not a
health hazard to the owners, employees or patrons of the Association. The contamination
has not impacted the ground water and is therefore not a threat to any individual at this
time.
Thank you for your reaffirmation of the report's findings that no health hazards exist for
the Association's members. You will contact me if this condition changes so I may notify
the appropriate parties.
Sincerely,
19
Liz Franco
cc: Vicki Iten, President Porter Station Condominium Association
f
