i
sui urface investigation Results
6131 Pacific Ave., Stockton, G.
Aegis Project No. 40.020
Page 13
316 EXPLORATORY SOIL BORINOS
Soil boring B-1 was drilled to determine the depth of ground
water beneath the site. PID readings of samples recovered from
soil boring B-1 did not indicate the presence of petroleum
hydrocarbons. Soils samples were not analyzed from soil boring B-
1.
Soil baring B-6 was drilled to a depth of 46 feet below grade to
assess the potential for horizontal migration of petroleum
hydrocarbons in soil. Four soil samples recovered from B-6 were
submitted for analysis. Soil samples B6/2 (101) and $/6 (301)
` contained low levels of toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes. The
remaining soil samples did not contain petroleum hydrocarbons
above detection limits.
Soil boring B-7 was drilled to determine the potential for off
-- site migration of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil. Three soil
samples recovered from B-7 were submitted for analysis. All three
samples contained low levels of hydrocarbon constituents.
Soil boring B-8 was advanced to determine presence of petroleum
hydrocarbons along the product lines and to determine the i
f i potential of horizontal migration of petroleum hydrocarbons in '
sail from the original tank basin. Two. soil:.samples recovered
i from B-8 were. submitted for analysis. Both samples contained
levels of TPH -above detection limits.
I 7
fz
H
4,
