The rinseate from <br /> the tanks was hauled by a licensed hazardous waste hauler under a <br /> Uniform Hazardous waste manifest 'to a licenced disposal facility. <br /> Tank closure activities started on June 6, 2990. The original <br /> tanks were removed on June 7 and hauled by a licenced hazardous <br /> waste hauler under Uniform Hazardous waste Manifest to a Licenced <br /> disposal facility. Product piping removal was conducted on June <br /> 6,7 and 8, 1990. Soil samples collected from the tank bavin and <br /> I € the product lire trenches were analyzed for Petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons Volatile (TVH) as gasoline by GC FID/5030 and for <br /> BTEX and ethylene dibromide EPA method 8020 r and for organic <br /> :Si lead by EPA method 7421. The locations where the soil samples <br /> were collected are presented on Figure 7. <br /> 4_a TALAR C®NDTIONS i <br /> I � <br /> The super unleaded (tank #1) and the regular leaded (tank #2) <br /> tanks were inspected upon removal for holes and corrosion. No <br /> iti holes or significant corrosion was noted on either tank. The <br /> regular unleaded tank (tank .#3) ...was found to have a hole <br /> : approximately 1/21 in diameter in the bottom of the tank .directly <br /> beneath the fill spout. <br /> 4.2 SAMPLING FROH BENEATH THE TMKS <br /> �f A total of six soil samples were collected from native soils <br /> I <br /> beneath the original tanks (Two samples per tank) at a depth of <br /> ►' approximately 16 feet below grade.
