CAMBRIA <br /> Quarterly Sampling <br /> Groundwater monitoring wells were sampled and analyzed for total purgeable hydrocarbons <br /> quantitated as gasoline (TPHg) and methanol according to EPA Method 8015 (Modified), <br /> benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX) and methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> according to EPA Method 8020, and tertiary-butanol, MTBE, dt-isopropyl ether (DIPE), <br /> ethyl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE), and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME) by EPA Method <br /> 8260 <br /> Field monitoring data and chemical analytical data are presented in a summary table in <br /> Blaine's groundwater monitoring report (Appendix A) <br /> Conclusions <br /> Groundwater samples collected from the wells this quarter had concentrations of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons and MTBE consistent with historical norms for this site <br /> Methanol and ethanol have not been detected in any of the site wells Fuel oxygenates other <br /> than MTBE have not been detected in the site wells with the exception of DIPE and TAME <br /> in wells MW-1 and MW-4 <br /> Recommendations <br /> Cambria received SJCPH's September 16, 1999 letter discussing sample analysis changes for <br /> this site As agreed to, Cambria will discontinue methanol and ethanol analysis and only <br /> perform EPA Methodanalysis to confirm MTBE detected by EPA Method 8020 <br /> I <br /> • <br /> 241-0854 2 <br />
