I am <br /> also enclosing the balance of $60 required for the Permit. <br /> The contractor who is awarded the project will pick up the <br /> permit from your office and will provide you with the necessary <br /> information regarding his state license, worker's compensation <br /> insurance, etc. <br /> In regard to the piping work, I am confirming that the <br /> contractor will flush the pipes with water before removing thein <br /> to a Class III site. The waste mixture will be handled as a <br /> hazardous material and disposed of according to California State <br /> Regulations. In addition, the contractor will be responsible <br /> for contacting the Stockton Fire Department and notifying them <br /> 48 hours in advance of any work to be performed. As stated on <br /> the Site Plan (Drawing A-1) you received, the contractor will <br /> also contact Groundwater Technology to perform the soil <br /> contamination tests once the piping has been removed. <br /> C(DPY <br />
