The project site is located <br /> within the city limits of the City of Stockton, but is under the jurisdiction of San Joaquin County because the proposed <br /> facility is a County project on County-owned property. The proposal is consistent with the street side setback requirements <br /> of the City of Stockton (ten [10] feet). The underlying project includes the construction of a 30,300 square foot Public <br /> Health Services building, which will replace the existing Public Health Services building currently on site. <br /> The City of Stockton zoning designation is CG (General Commercial) & PF (Public Facilities), and the General Plan <br /> designation is Commercial & Institutional. <br /> PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the north west corner of Hazelton Avenue and Delia Street, Stockton. <br /> (APN/Address: 155-050-03, -04, -05/1601 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton) (Supervisorial District: 1) <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per <br /> CEQA Guidelines Section 15302. Article 19 Categorical Exemptions includes a list of classes of projects that have been <br /> determined not to have a significant effect on the environment and that are, therefore, exempt from the provisions of CEQA. <br /> Section 15302 Class 2 consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure <br /> will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the <br /> structure replaced. <br /> APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community <br /> Development Department no later than December 13, 2019. Recommendations and/or comments received after that date <br /> may not be considered in staffs analysis and/or recommendation to the San Joaquin County Planning Commission for <br /> this application. <br /> NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: This project will be scheduled for a San Joaquin County Planning <br /> Commission hearing.
