The results of the recent investigation, <br /> included in the "Closure Report" dated January 1994 and prepared by Geological Audit,were discussed. <br /> The Closure Report summarized the results of results from the tank removal, over excavation, and <br /> investigation of residual soil contamination and groundwater. No contamination was detected in the <br /> samples submitted for analysis from the soil borings SB4, SB4A, SB5 and SB5A which were drilled to <br /> investigate residual soil contamination documented during the installation of monitoring well, MW2. <br /> The TRC recommended the site for closure consideration. PHS/EHD will formally request concurrence <br /> from the CVRWQCB. While awaiting concurrence, please proceed with submittal of a work plan and a <br /> permit application, along with $89 for the destruction of the monitoring wells.
