ERM, on behalf of Catellus, has
discussed Site closure with the County Public Health
Services/Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). In accordance with PHS/EHD policy, well abandonment is
to be performed following a PHS/EHD-approved Workplan. ERM has
prepared this Workplan for abandonment of the ten wells currently
present at the UST Site (Figure 2). Enclosed is a PHS/EHD Well Permit
Application Form and a check in the amount of$60.00 for well
abandonment permitting fees.
This Workplan presents a proposed scope of work, including well
abandonment and waste management procedures, and a projected
schedule of implementation.
