On behalf of Catellus Development Corporation, following are <br /> our responses which we have prepared to address your comments. <br /> Third Quarter 1991 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> (1) ERM-West will notify you by telephone at least 48 hours prior to any future <br /> sampling event at the site so that PHS/EHD personnel can arrange to be at <br /> the site to inspect sampling activities. <br /> (2) Monitoring well purge data will be included in all future quarterly ground <br /> water monitoring reports. <br /> (3) Tide tables will be provided for the dates of sampling in all future quarterly <br /> ground water monitoring reports. To suppleinent the tide table information, <br /> ERM-West will survey the water elevation of the Stockton Deep Water <br /> Channel during the quarterly ground water monitoring activities, starting in <br /> 1992. <br /> Interim Preliminary Assessment Repor <br /> (4) With regard to your concern for lead in the ground water at the site, the <br /> water sample obtained from the bottom of the tank excavation at 1515 West <br /> Weber is highly suspect. There is no information in the Kleinfelder report to <br /> indicate the condition of the water that was sampled.
