Further information was provided by ERM-West
representative, Bruce Pfaff during the February 10, 1992
telecommunication. PHS/EHD has the following comments.
The site address and the site name has been changed to reflect
the address of record for San Joaquin County Assessor ' s Parcel
Number (APN) 145-190-16. The site address has been changed from
1515 West Weber to 1325 West Weber. The site name has been
changed from Farmer' s Feed to Catellus Development Property.
Future references to contaminated areas on the property may be by
facility address and former tank number.
Another somewhat related topic as the labelling of the monitoring
wells proposed to investigate the contamination associated with
former tank #2 - 1325 West Weber. The Workplan labelled these
wells as MW1, MW2 , MW3 , and MW4 . Since the parcel already
contains MW1 - MW5 another description to distinguish the
proposed wells will be necessary.
The Workplan proposed sampling the borings every 5 feet. PHS/EHD
recommends the borings be sampled every 2 to 2 . 5 feet to better
characterize the shallow vadose zone.
The Workplan did not specify sample analysis of total petroleum
hydrocarbon - diesel (TPH-d) . The presence of TPH-d has been
confirmed, therefore, future sampling should undergo TPH-d
analysis .
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care scrnces
