ERM=West Inc. <br /> Suite 260• 1777 Botelho Drive•Walnut Creek, California 94596-5042 -(415)946-0455•Telefax (415)946-9968 <br />' April 14, 1992 <br />' Ms Mary Meays <br /> Public Health Services/Environmental Health <br />' San Joaquin County <br /> 1601 East Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> 1 Subject First Quarter 1992 Ground Water Monitoring Report <br /> Former Tank Site #1 <br /> 1325 West Weber Avenue, Stockton, California <br /> Site Code 1284 <br />' Dear Mary <br /> ERM-West, Inc has completed the first quarter 1992 ground water <br /> ,r sampling at 1325 West Weber Avenue, Former Tank Site #1 Discussed <br /> herein are the purging and sampling methods and the results of the <br /> laboratory analyses Also included as attachments to this report are the <br /> second, third and fourth quarter 1991 sampling findings for your reference <br /> i <br /> Purdn-g and Sam Lg paYG �V, I <br />' Monitoring well MW- rough MW-5 (Figure 1) were purged and <br /> sampled on Marc 92 b ERM-West, Inc personnel Prior to purging, <br />' the depth to wa er in the we s was measured by the wetted tape method <br /> (Table 1) The depth of each well was also measured The wells were then <br /> purged by removing approximately 10 to 20 gallons of water per well The <br />' monitoring well purge records are attached <br /> After purging was completed, the wells were sampled Sampling was <br /> accomplished with a pre-cleaned Teflon® bailer equipped with a removable <br />' petcock Water was transferred from the bailer into laboratory-supplied <br /> bottles All samples provided to the laboratory were labeled and sealed into <br /> Zip-Lack® type plastic bags, and then placed on ice in a cooler <br />' Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) rocedures were followed <br /> during purging and sampling Prior to work at each well, the equipment <br /> was cleaned and decontaminated with an Alconox® solution followed by a <br /> clean water rinse Water from decontamination procedures was retained <br /> in 55-gallon drums and stored on site Latex type gloves were worn while <br /> TM <br /> An affiliate of The Environmental Resources Management Group with offices worldwide p <br />
