December,1991). This mforr toatt is provided in response to a <br /> 21 December,1999 request by Marty Hartzell of the Central Valley <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board,who cited, inconsistencies with <br /> subsequent correspondence Based on a physical reconnaissance and <br /> Global Positioning System(GPS)survey on the site and in the vicLmty, <br /> ERM has determined the following regarding the two wells onguadly <br /> identified as being within a 2, foot radius of the properties- <br /> . o The irrigation well located at Cornell Court and 1-5 was apparently <br /> abandoned to August 1999(see enclosed l /EHD application for <br /> well abandonment) The well was owned by Caltrans,and was used <br /> for landscape imgateon <br /> o The property located at 215 S Los Angeles Street reported to have one <br /> domestic well does not lie withm a 2,000-foot radius of the site The <br /> dLstance from the site to the property was measured on 7 January 2000 <br /> by IIZM personnel with the use of a GPS unit(see Figure 1) <br /> ,JAQ/dem/299610 <br /> enclosures <br />
