Based on a physical reconnaissance and <br /> Global Positioning System(GIBS)survey on the site and in the vzcuuty, <br /> ERM has determined the following ng regarding'the two wells ongmally <br /> identifred as being within a 2,000-foot radius of the properties <br /> o The irrigation wed located at Cornell Court and I-5 was apparently <br /> abandoned an August 1999 (see enclosed PHS f EHD apphcatiuon for <br /> well abandonment) The well was owned by Caltrans,and was used <br /> for landscape irrigation <br /> Q The property located at 215 S Los Angeles Street reported to have one <br /> dornesbc well does not Lie withm a 2,000-foot radius of the site The <br /> distance from the sate to the property was measured on 7]anuary 2000 <br /> by ERM personnel with the use of a GPS unit(see]Figure 1) <br /> JAQ/dem/299610 <br /> enclosures <br />
