USACE <br /> comments should be adequately addressed in the final SSHP in order to receive required Government acceptance to <br /> proceed with field mobilization. Copies of all administrative paperwork filed with the State of California are also to <br /> be provided to the Government,such as but not limited to well start cards and completion forms. <br /> 5.16.Schedule <br /> The following schedule shall apply to this contract unless delays are incurred by the Government through no fault <br /> of the Contractor: <br /> Task-Schedule of Completion <br /> Submit draft Site-Specific Safety and Health Plan for Government review-Within 21 calendar days after Notice To <br /> Proceed(NTP) <br /> Government comments on draft SSHP due to Contractor-Within 28 calendar days after NTP <br /> Final SSHP submitted for Government acceptance-35 calendar days after NTP <br /> Government acceptance of final SSHP-40 calendar days after NTP <br /> Mobilize to begin field work-45 calendar days after NTP <br /> Demobilize from site,field work complete- 105 calendar days after NTP <br /> All project documentation provided to Government- 135 calendar days after NTP <br /> 5.17.General Requirements <br /> The Contractor shall furnish all equipment,plant,labor,materials,supplies,and accessories required to accomplish <br /> the work in accordance with these specifications and applicable schedules. All work shall be performed in <br /> accordance with all relevant Federal,State,and local requirements.The drilling company must be licensed to <br /> perform such work in the State of California. If the requirements set forth in the PWS do not meet regulatory <br /> guidance or requirements,the Contractor shall immediately contact the USACE for resolution of differences. <br /> Directions to the site <br /> The McCormick and Baxter Superfund Site is approximately one mile west of downtown Stockton,California on <br /> West Washington Street. Drilling locations are on West Weber Avenue west of Interstate 5,and optional drill <br /> locations are immediately north and south of West Weber Avenue. <br /> Coordination and Communication <br /> Primary communication and coordination between the Contractor and the Government should be between the <br /> Contractor's designated Contract Manager and the Government's designated COR. The Government will keep the <br /> Environmental Protection Agency updated on project progress. <br /> Drilling Permits and Utility Clearances <br /> The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all Federal,State,and local permits,licenses,filing geotechnical <br /> boring reports,well completion reports,and other requirements necessary for execution of the work and paying all <br /> costs thereof. Copies of such documents shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer Representative(COR)prior to <br /> commencing the drilling activity,or in the case of boring and well completion reports,after completion of the <br /> activity. All work shall conform to State of California well standards requirements stated in DWR 74-81 &DWR <br /> 74-90. <br /> The Contractor will be responsible for utility clearances. The Contractor shall be careful when excavating the top <br /> five feet of the borehole location to assure clearance. <br />
