A full body shower will be required as soon as possible upon leaving the
project site. For projects involving Level C personal protective equipment, a decontamination
station will be established and the following procedures enforced.
12.1 Personal Decontamination
Personnel will establish a decontamination station on the interface of the Exclusion Zone. A
Contaminant Reduction Zone will be established and will extend 10 feet beyond from the
decontamination station.
Two Wash Tubs
• Scrub Brush
• Plastic Bags
• Water and Alconox Detergent
The wash tub on the exclusion zone side of the site will contain a solution of water and Alconox
detergent; the second wash tub will contain clean rinse water.
