'i <br /> Specifications for Vent and Sparge Wells at Moore Petroleum,Banta <br /> VENT WELL <br /> The vent well will be 10 feet of 4-inch diameter 0.020 slot well screen set to <br /> approximately 14 feet below surface. The well will be completed with sand pack to 1 foot <br /> above the well screen, 1 foot of bentonite and grout to the bottom of the well cover. A 4- <br /> inch tee will be included in the riser above the bentonite seal for connecting the well to the <br /> vapor extraction system. <br /> SPARGE WELL <br /> :i <br /> The sparge well will consist of a 1.25-inch diameter by 2 foot long sand point with a <br /> galvanized iron riser. The sand point will be driven through the bottom of a 15 foot deep <br /> soil boring, such that the top of the sand point screen is at least 3 feet below established <br /> depth to ground water. The well will be sealed to the well cover with grout.
