The purpose of these wells and CPT will be to determine the vertical <br /> and lateral extent of soil and groundwater impaction by petroleum hydrocarbons at the'site. The <br /> groundwater will be sampled from the monitoring wells every quarter until regulatory authority <br /> authorizes abandonment of the monitoring wells.
